Classes run for 8 weeks. $150 Level 1, $200 Level 2-5.
The New Movement Theater is a collective of improv comedy theaters in Austin and New Orleans with satellites in Dallas and (as of Summer 2011) Houston! TNM Houston is proud to work in association with Rogue Improv teaching 5 levels of improv comedy classes. We teach a unique syllabus that helps our students hone their own comedic voice and find the funniest, smartest scenes by mapping ideas from their very first moments on stage. Because TNM has a 4 city network of theaters, we are able to provide unprecedented opportunities for improv students in the South. TNM hosts a number of improv festivals (Hell Yes Fest, Megaphone Marathons), publishes a comedy magazine Lowlights, books national and regional tours, produces special event shows and throws lots and lots of parties throughout the year. Our students and performers are able to collaborate on new levels as we foster a strong commitment to community between cities. How old do you have to be to join the class?

-We like to keep it at 21 and up because of the venue.

level 1 Improv beginning June 20 8-10p & Level 1 Improv beginning June 22 6-8p
Yes, there are two level one classes going on at the same time! You can specify if you would like a Monday or a Wednesday night class.

Is it possible to pay $75 before class begins and the other half on Friday the 24th?
